Recording now available! Over 60% of adults spend more than they earn each month, living in debt, paycheck to paycheck. The reason is that no matter the income level, from $20,000 to hundreds of thousands of dollars per year, most people are untrained and unprepared for the financial decisions that everyone has to make as an adult. Consider professional athletes who earn tens of millions only to find themselves penniless a couple of years after leaving pro sports. No one is immune. The good news is that the fundamentals of personal finance are easy to understand, learn, and deploy in everyday life. These decisions include where to live, work, and play. They include decisions on transportation, investment, credit, insurance, and taxes. In NCCET's new personal finance course, DECISIONS/DECI$ION$, students will learn how to understand, make, and manage the decisions that will determine the quality of their lives.
PathFinder Session 1 - downloadable document below
In this session you will learn the story of the resurrection of the USF Continuing Education Unit; 6 years ago, the USF unit was about to be closed for good and now it is a multi-million-dollar revenue and profit machine. Through this story you will learn the 5 key pillars that the USF team used to turn around the CE Unit and here is the best part you can use these strategies too. Nothing they did at USF cannot be done at your school. The session will be led by Mark Koulianos, the Executive Director for the USF Office of Corporate Training and Professional Education and his guest will be Kathy Barnes an Associate Director at USF who was there before the transformation and now after. Kathy will be able to give you a unique perspective of before and after and how the changes suggested by Mark work in practice. Come to the session and learn how to turn your CE unit into a profit center.
