The 51st National NCCET Members Conference
February 2-4, 2022 in Austin, Texas
We are thrilled to announce that the next NCCET Annual Conference event will take place in Austin, Texas at the AT&T Executive Education and Conference Center.
The event will begin on Wednesday, February 2, 2022, at 7:30 AM with a meeting of the Board of Directors and their specially invited guests, our 11 NCCET Regional Directors. The Members Reception will take place at 6:00 PM that Wednesday evening in the Interior Courtyard.
Breakfast and 1.5 days of conference activities begins the following morning on Thursday, February 3, 2022, and officially concludes at 1:00 PM on Friday, February 4, 2022. Those of you who will be making your travel plans early should keep in mind that we will be concluding the conference with an important announcement that you will not want to miss. In addition, we chose this city because of it’s wide appeal to a tremendously wide audience Austin is recognized as the Live Music Capital of the World so you may not want to rush to airport early Friday afternoon. Rooms will be available for Friday night at the same $179.00 rate on a first come first served basis.
This event is for attendees and guests from NCCET Institutional Members. People who wish to participate from Associate Member schools may register their school for Institutional Membership on our website at nccet.org. The annual fee for Institutional Members is $500 and there is no limit on participating members from a current member school.
Early Bird Registration will begin in August 2021 at $495 per person. Conference registration will open in October at $595 for the first person from each school and $545 for each subsequent attendee. Regional Directors and Area Managers will not count toward this tally.
The Call for Proposals for both plenary and breakout sessions is now open on this website. For security purposes we ask that you log in or register in order to submit your proposal. We are as eager to hear from potential speakers from Associate Members as we are from our Institutional Member schools. We will be closely evaluating these sessions for their value and their impact in their respective categories. Once again, we are planning to deliver specific tracks which you can follow according to your interests. Those tracks are, Staff Development Programs, Revenue Growth Strategies, New Non-Credit Curriculums, and Business Engagement. The sessions may be presentations or panel discussions. Additional detail will be forthcoming in the weeks and months ahead.
In addition, we have actively been building our regional organizations to bring the benefits of NCCET membership that much closer to you. Proposals for sessions that are NOT selected for the Annual Conference may be made available for presentation during the soon to be introduced Regional Forums which will take place within your state throughout the year.
We are also eager to introduce an NCCET Trade Show that is actively engaged at the very heart of the conference. A great deal more information will be available regarding the positioning and the participants of the Trade Show as they become available.
The Conference Center features onsite guest rooms at $179.00 per night plus a 17% tax for both single and double occupancy. We will utilize the AT&T online reservation system shortly. In the interim, conference attendees may call the reservation office at 877-744-8822 to make individual room reservations. With 11 regions now eager to take this next major step with NCCET, we encourage you not to wait until the last minute.
